Vauxhall is part of the British Touring Car Championship

Those who are auto racing, specifically Formula 1 and the many different Touring Car Championship series that run all over the UK, Europe and the world will recognize that Vauxhall is as much a part of the world of auto racing as Mercedes and many other manufacturers have been. There are so many different types of car that run in these events that have taken the podium and top honours for finishing first, second or third. This by itself does not explain why all of these manufacturers have chosen to be involved in the world of auto racing. For the most part, the manufacturers stay directly involved because they are able to translate wins in the race track to sales in the dealerships shortly afterward.

The main thing that is well known is that Vauxhall Racing (VXR) is a team that can get the job done; and in stunning fashion as well. The sheer horsepower and maneuverability that Vauxhall has built into every single make and model that bear its name translates as well on the race track as it does on the roadways that people travel everyday. Given the dynamic power that Vauxhall builds into every vehicle it makes is it any wonder that the VX Racing team currently holds the lead in both the Driver’s and the Manufacturer’s Championship Standings this year. This is nothing new to those that follow the VX Racing team specifically or auto racing in general. The world of auto racing is always changing, as is the world around us.
